Born in a musician family of Allahabad, Priyank Krishna got the music in his inheritance. Started his formal training of classical music in a very tender age from his father the prominent Clarinet player of India Late Pt. Ram Krishna.
Accompanying his father in various music concerts, today Priyank Krishna is carving out a niche for himself in the field of Saxophone. In his recital Priyank likes to combine the melody of Gayaki and intricacies of Tantrakari Styles along with keeping the effectiveness of a western instrument. His performances were applauded by audiences and music critics as well in India and abroad. He also has an expertise in playing traditional Indian Bamboo Flute (Bansuri). He is the first and only North Indian Classical Saxophonist to be Awarded the rigorous "A-Grade" from All India Radio. He has also completed Masters Degree in Political Science and Bansuri (Indian Bamboo Flute).
During his musical journey Priyank had the chance to be part of some of the most prestigious music ensembles of the country and on an international level. He performed with Coke Studio fame- Kutle Khan Project, Mame Khan and Rajasthan Roots , American Saxophonist Phil Scarff, Brit-Asian Singer Deepa Nair just to name a few.
